Practical Tips

• Book Gondola tickets ONLINE the night before — Phase 1 approx ₹800/person, Phase 1+2 approx ₹1,800. On-the-spot queues sell out by midday.
• Start by 8:30 AM; crowds peak after 11.
• Bargain pony (₹400–500) and ATV (₹500–1,000) rates down to 50–60% of the opening quote.
• In winter, only chained vehicles are allowed beyond Tangmarg — confirm with your driver.
• Carry jackets and snacks; Gulmarg runs much colder than Srinagar.
